Quick and Easy Cornbread

Ingredients

2 boxes jiffy corn bread

1 box yellow cake mix

1 ¼ cups of water

4 eggs

1/3 c. milk

1/4 cup melted butter

Directions

Mix all ingredients with a spatula or wooden spoon until combined. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 325 degrees for 40 – 45 mins or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  1. This was the first time I ever even attempted to bake something and it came out great! It really tasted more like cake, but with the texture of cornbread. You know cornbread is good when you can just eat it by itself with no other food.

  2. I LOVE cornbread but I had the hardest time finding a recipe the way I like. this recipe is moist and firm, not dry and crumbly. I love the sweetness.
