Korean Style Grilled BBQ Beef Short Ribs

Ingredients

1 cup soy sauce

1 cup water

¼ cup rice wine vinegar

1/4 cup dark brown sugar

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoons sesame oil

3-4 green onions, thinly sliced

3 pounds Korean-style short ribs

Directions

Pour soy sauce, water, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder and sesame oil in a large Ziploc or resealable type Freezer bag. Mix until all ingredients are well combined. Add the ribs and refrigerate overnight. Remove the ribs from the bag and pour the marinade in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Then reduce to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Put aside. Pre-heat grill to medium-high heat. Grill the Beef Short Ribs over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Once the ribs are removed from the grill brush on some of the glaze. Serve topped with sliced green onions.

  1. Fantastic recipe! Followed it exactly but I baked mine in the oven at 375 for 20 mins and then turned on the broiler for about 5 minutes
